Contracts
Health Care
For over half a century the company have majored in the installation of Engineering Services to Hospitals, Nursing homes and associated developments. These works, on average, constitute around 30% of the companies annual turnover Recent contracts have included:
Old Manor Hospital, Salisbury, a Design and Build project comprising three new buildings with electrical and mechanical services to the value of £3.4M.
Royal Bournemouth Hospital, the installation of new Ophthalmology Services with electrical and mechanical services to the value of £1.2M.
West Dorset hospital phase 11, refurbishment to provide a new Day hospital, with electrical and mechanical services to the value of £800K.
The supply and installation of new generation plant and switchgear at Yeovil District Hospital to the value of £850K.
Design
Qualified engineers within the company are able to carry out design work covering the full spectrum of building engineering services.
Design work carried out, ranges from domestic services to complex control panels for water pumping stations.
In recent years we have carried out the design and installation of electrical, heating, ventilating and air conditioning services to town centre theme pub developments all over the country, the total value of the works being in the region of £4M.
Drawings are prepared using AutoCAD 2007 workstations and large format HP plotters.
Cymap design software is used for cable sizing, lighting calculations, building heat losses and gains, ac sizing, pipework sizing and pump selection
Government
We have carried out works in a numbers of Prison establishments in the area including HMP Albany IOW, HMP Shepton Mallett, and HMP The Weare. We were responsible for the total refurbishment of the Mechanical and Electrical services to the “prison ship” HMP The Weare a £1.6M contract that was carried out in 20 weeks.
Defence
Our work in defence establishments is even more varied. We have installed runway lighting at RNAS Culdrose, Dummy Deck facilities and flight refuelling services at RNAS Yeovilton, services to range control towers at Lulworth Army Camp, and ship–to-shore boxes at the former Naval Dockyard at Portland

Power Distibution & Generation
We have considerable experience in the supply and installation of power distribution systems,including HV cabling and substations, and generating plant. Contracts have included:
The supply and installation of new main switchgear and generating plant at Yeovil District Hospital total value £850,000
The design supply and installation of replacement generators and switchgear upgrades to East Dorset Health Authority value £60,000
The supply and installation of of new generators at Winfrith Police Headquarters Dorset, value £255,000
